Technology brings a Byzantine palace to life in Istanbul

The Tekfur Sarayı Müze, a museum housed in a restored Byzantine palace, faced the challenge of presenting its historical collections of tiles, ceramics, and glass in a dynamic and engaging way for visitors. The museum needed to contextualize the rich history of Byzantium and the Ottoman Empire, bringing ancient artifacts and the palace's own story to life for a modern audience.

Barco implemented a solution using their KVD video walls and UniSee LCD screens to create immersive displays. A massive 3x4 video wall and a 3x2 UniSee wall showcase high-quality historical imagery and information about daily life, while projections and animations further enrich the visitor experience.
