CREATE.eu, a Belgian experience design company, was tasked by the city of Kortrijk with creating a permanent, high-quality immersive show in the historic Count’s Chapel to tell the story of the Battle of the Golden Spurs. The challenge was to integrate a solution that would be reliable for daily, long-running performances while respecting the sensitive architectural heritage of the chapel, which is still an active church.

Barco provided the solution with its G60 laser projectors. CREATE.eu installed thirteen Barco projectors, chosen for their high image quality, reliability, long lifetime, quiet operation, and compact size with short-throw lenses. The result is a seamless and respectful 18-minute immersive projection mapping that brings the stained-glass windows to life, delivering a popular and memorable edutainment experience for visitors of all ages.
