Igelkott Studios, a company specializing in car scene productions, faced the challenge of modernizing its filmmaking techniques. They needed a high-resolution, real-time projection solution to replace traditional trailing methods and conventional lighting, which were unable to synchronize with dynamic backgrounds and were problematic for AI-powered post-production.

The solution implemented with Barco involved using multiple Barco HDX-4K Pulse and UDX series projectors. This setup provided the necessary high-resolution, 360° projection that eliminated issues like moire and visible pixels, allowing cameras to focus directly on the screen. The Barco projectors' light also replaced conventional lamps, as it was pre-color graded and could be easily adjusted. As a result, Igelkott Studios can now film superior car scenes more efficiently and has established a permanent studio for continued development and production.
