The Port of Zeebrugge required a new cruise terminal in Brugge, Belgium, to manage a large influx of visitors and to provide an engaging way to promote the region. Their challenge was to create an informative welcome center that would create enthusiasm and excitement for the half a million passengers arriving annually. To achieve this, they worked with vendor Barco on a visual solution.

Barco implemented an immersive experience in the visitor center using three F80-4K7 laser phosphor projectors to display a panoramic film on a large triptych screen. The solution also included ClickShare conferencing units and additional projectors for a multi-use meeting room. The projectors provided stunning 4K image quality and saturated colors, and the entire show was designed for ease of use by non-technical staff. The Barco solution successfully showcases the beauty of Belgium, providing visitors with a positive and informative first impression of the country.
