Museum of the Future an architectural wonder and a great feat of technology

The Museum of the Future, a new landmark in Dubai, aimed to create a unique 'living museum' with unprecedented immersive exhibits. The challenge was to find a technology partner capable of realizing their pioneering vision, which included overcoming significant architectural hurdles to deliver seamless, large-scale projections. They engaged Barco, along with design and integration partners, to develop a customized solution.

Barco implemented an end-to-end solution featuring custom engineering. The centerpiece was the installation of fourteen projectors to create a 110-megapixel image on the largest single-piece curved rear-projection screen ever built. Additional Barco projectors and a video wall were used throughout other exhibits. The result was a visually stunning and technologically advanced experience that perfectly served the creators' designs, with Barco receiving high praise for their innovative engineering and collaborative partnership.
