A Barco Case Study
The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA) sought to make its renowned collection accessible to a wide audience by creating an unforgettable and wonderous museum experience, particularly for families. The challenge was to design an immersive projection space that would honor the artists' craftsmanship, requiring technology capable of rendering colors and details with exceptional accuracy to stay true to the original masterpieces. Barco was selected to provide the visualization solution.
Barco installed six UDM-4K22 projectors to power a 360-degree immersive room. The solution delivered impactful 4K experiences with high color accuracy, reliably bringing painting details to life. As a result, the space became an unmissable part of the visit, generating widespread enthusiasm. The museum welcomed over 267,000 visitors in its first three months, with Barco's technology credited for creating a moment of relaxation and wonder for all audience groups.
