How Barco helped celebrate the opening of ‘the Venice of the UAE’!

The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai sought an exceptional inauguration event for the grand opening of the 3.2-kilometer Dubai Canal, a landmark engineering project. To ensure a spectacular celebration that reflected the project's importance, they partnered with creative agency Prodea, which turned to Barco for its projection technology.

Barco's solution involved using 13 of its HDF-W30 projectors to power a stunning video projection mapping display on the main stage. The result was a spectacular event featuring a massive waterfall, aerial performances, three kilometers of connecting lasers, and unique water shows that told the canal's story. Barco's technology helped deliver an impressive celebration that delighted the client, achieved with style and a minimum of fuss.
