Giant 720 -degree dome screen – using Barco HDF projectors – breathe life into ancient Chinese myth

Fun Capital Park of Beijing sought to create a groundbreaking, high-tech theme park attraction that would immerse visitors in ancient Chinese mythology through modern technology. To achieve this, they worked with Barco and their local partner to implement a solution centered around a massive 720-degree dome screen cinema.

Barco provided its HDF series projectors for the installation. This solution utilized 14 high-definition projectors to fill the dome with crisp, bright, and rich color images, fully supporting 3D projection. The result was the world's first and most advanced giant indoor dome screen, creating an unprecedented and stunningly immersive audiovisual experience that brought ancient myths to life for park visitors.
