The customer, GAILTEL, the telecom arm of GAIL India Ltd., faced operational inefficiencies. Their team had to physically move between 14 different network management PCs with small monitors to diagnose faults in their vast optical fiber network. They partnered with vendor Barco to find a solution that would centralize and simplify this process into a single workstation.

Barco implemented its OverView OLF-721 LED video wall and the TransForm N Control Room Management Suite software. This centralized solution allowed operators to control all 14 networks from a single point, drastically improving efficiency. According to the customer, Barco's technology increased efficiency levels by almost 80%, halved infrastructural clutter, and enabled 24/7 unfailing operation.
