First full HDR LED deployment from live camera to LED screen

The Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in Frankfurt, a major automotive show, faced the challenge of creating a suitably impressive and technologically advanced display for its press events and public shows. The production house, AV-X, needed a reliable solution to relay live camera feeds to a massive LED screen with correct HDR, 12G, and HDMI 2.0 reproduction and interconnectivity.

Barco provided the solution through its Event Master E2 TriCombo sets. This technology enabled a full HDR LED deployment from live camera to screen, utilizing native 4K50p input and output on a single cable with internal 12-bit processing. The result was an incredibly realistic visual experience with superior contrast and color that wowed attendees and was praised by media, successfully showcasing the new vehicles in the most impressive light.
