The customer, Faber Audiovisuals, an audiovisual specialist, was chosen as the official video partner for the highly anticipated Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Their challenge was to deliver a mega production with the highest quality standards for a global audience, requiring uncompromising reliability and image quality for the live shows. To meet this challenge, they selected Barco's Eventmaster platform.

Barco provided a comprehensive solution including E2 image processors, PDS-4K presentation switchers, ImagePro-4K scalers, and UDX-4K32 projectors. This technology delivered the required spectacular audiovisual experience, with the PDS-4K being the only solution that allowed monitoring of all 4K feeds. The result was a successful broadcast viewed by millions, with the Barco equipment praised as life-savers for its reliability in scaling and switching images during the live performances.
