A Barco Case Study

Colorado gardens come alive at night

The Patrons of Denver Botanic Gardens required a projection mapping solution for their Glow at the Gardens and Blossoms of Light events. Their challenge was the need for an extremely bright projector to overcome a light-absorbing screen canvas, combined with the necessity of an ultra-short throw lens due to a physically obstructed installation space. Vendor Barco provided the F50 projector with an EN-57 lens to meet these specific technical requirements.

Barco's high-brightness F50 projector and ultra-short throw lens were the perfect solution, enabling the creation of immersive, large-scale holographic illusions and winter wonderland displays. The results were highly successful, with the Glow at the Gardens event alone selling out its four-day run and being experienced by over 14,000 visitors. The solution from Barco reliably delivered the spectacular visual experiences central to the gardens' outreach and educational mission.
