Brussels Airport aimed to enhance passenger experience by creating a relaxed, festive atmosphere during the busy December holiday season. To transform the terminal into a magic winter wonderland, the airport partnered with vendor Barco and used their UDX-4K40 projectors for a large-scale projection mapping installation.

Barco provided a solution with eight high-brightness UDX-4K40 projectors that were easy to install and reliable for 24/7 operation. The projectors were used to animate the iconic split-flap display and the walls of the walkway lavatories with wintery scenes and holiday greetings. The result was a complete transformation of the airport's vibe, successfully marking the start of the passengers' holidays and leading the airport to consider Barco for future themed events.
