Kawada Techno System CO., Ltd., a company that provides design and consulting services for the construction industry, faced the challenge of keeping pace with digital transformation (DX) in the AEC sector. To avoid falling behind technologically and to develop new simulation systems, they needed a solution that would allow for advanced utilization of their 3D design data. They partnered with vendor Barco to address this need.

Barco implemented a projection VR system (CAVE) at Kawada's new office, utilizing three F80-Q7 laser projectors. This multi-sided immersive environment allows multiple users to collaboratively experience full-size 3D models and simulations in a shared virtual space. The solution enables Kawada to identify and resolve potential on-site problems in advance and provides a powerful new tool for customer presentations, effectively accelerating their digital transformation infrastructure.
