Barco’s first Projector Management Suite project in China landed at Zhuhai Grand Theater

The Zhuhai Grand Theater faced a challenge in efficiently managing and maintaining 34 outdoor Barco UDX laser projectors used for a landmark light show. The existing setup required staff to be physically present in a distant central control room for monitoring, making real-time feedback, rapid response, and proactive maintenance difficult.

Barco addressed this by upgrading the projectors with its Projector Management Suite, an IoT platform. This cloud-based solution enabled remote, real-time monitoring and diagnosis from any internet-connected device, allowing engineers to perform proactive maintenance and quickly troubleshoot issues using historical data.
