Barco projectors craft stunning projection mapping at Indonesia’s 2016 PON Games

The customer, PON Games, required a visually stunning and unforgettable projection mapping show for the opening and closing ceremonies of its 2016 national sporting event in Bandung, Indonesia. Barco provided its projection technology and show control systems to meet this creative challenge.

Barco's solution utilized 32 projectors, including HDF-W30 FLEX, HDF-W26, and HDQ-2K40 models, all synchronized by two Medialon show control platforms. Despite high winds and difficult access points, the Barco projectors delivered impressive, stable images. The result was a seamless show described by viewers as "the most wonderful effect ever achieved" at the games.
