Barco OpSpace gives Schiphol operators a shared view on airport operations

The Schiphol Airport Operations Center (APOC) faced the challenge of managing increasingly complex airport logistics and passenger flows for Europe's third-busiest airport. To provide a better experience and enable smooth collaboration between its many stakeholders, Schiphol needed a new control room solution. Partnering with Barco and Bosch Energy and Building Solutions, the goal was to give operators all the information they need, when they need it.

Barco implemented its OpSpace workstations to create ergonomic operator workspaces for the APOC's control room. This solution from Barco provided operators with a single, unified view of all critical applications from various departments, allowing for smooth collaboration and control of all systems with a single keyboard and mouse. The result is that Schiphol operators can now predict passenger and flight movements with more precision and certainty, sharing information instantly between disciplines and to the video walls, ensuring efficient operations 24/7.
