Barco inspires digital artist Franz Cerami to brighten the city of Naples

The digital artist Franz Cerami was commissioned by Voiello/Barilla to create a stunning video mapping installation on the historic Castel dell'Ovo in Naples. The challenge was to animate the massive 2,000 square meter façade of the castle from a projection distance of over 100 meters, requiring extremely powerful and reliable projection technology to bring the artist's vision to life for the public.

Barco, through its Italian partner Service2Service, provided the solution with two UDX-32k4K projectors. This Barco technology successfully powered the eleven-day artistic display, resulting in an innovative and unforgettable homage to the city's traditions. The Barco projectors enabled Franz Cerami to deliver a never-before-seen spectacle that brightened the city and celebrated its rich art heritage.
