Jaypee Hospital required high-resolution medical display monitors to improve diagnostic workflow and accuracy, particularly for CT, MRI, and mammography scans. Dr. Parul Garg, Associate Director of Radiology, specifically needed a user-friendly viewing solution that would allow for more confident diagnoses and reached out to vendor Barco for a solution.
Barco implemented its Nio Color 5MP displays, which provided excellent color and grayscale image quality and featured intuitive tools like SpotView and DimView. Following the installation and training, the hospital reported a significant improvement in diagnostic speed and accuracy. Dr. Garg stated the images made it easier to detect fine abnormalities, reducing the chance of missing details, and the department plans to purchase additional Barco systems.
