Barco dresses Notre-Dame de Paris with spectacular light show

The Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris sought to present a unique nighttime spectacle, a musical and visual journey projected onto its detailed façade. To realize this ambitious show, the event specialist Novelty Group partnered with Barco to overcome the challenge of projecting bright, perfectly aligned imagery in a city with high levels of ambient light.

Barco provided eight HDF-W30 FLEX projectors for the solution. These projectors, with an output of 30,000 lumens, delivered the necessary brightness. Utilizing Barco's ImagePRO technology, the visuals were optimally scaled and aligned with the cathedral's contours, resulting in a memorable show that captivated thousands of spectators with animations of growing plants, falling snow, and flowing water.
