Case Study: CPL powers Glastonbury’s Pangea dome projections with Barco projectors

Arcadia’s famous spider has a successor

The customer, CPL, a technical production specialist, faced the challenge of delivering a highly precise and robust projection system for the 360-degree visuals on the dome of the new Pangea structure at the Glastonbury festival. They required a solution that could provide exceptional brightness and sharpness while enduring the demanding outdoor music festival environment.

To meet this challenge, CPL implemented a solution using six Barco UDX-4K32 projectors with fibre optic infrastructure. The rugged and flexible Barco projectors provided the necessary performance and reliability. The result was a successful, integral part of the show, effectively showcasing the animations to an audience of 50,000 people each night.
