A memorable on-ice opening sequence at Seattle’s technology-advanced Climate Pledge Arena

Climate Pledge Arena, home to the NHL's Seattle Kraken, sought to create a powerful and immersive fan experience within its newly renovated, technology-advanced venue. A key challenge was implementing a high-quality on-ice projection system that could overcome the difficult reflective surface of the ice to deliver a memorable pre-game and intermission show.

Barco provided the solution by installing twelve of its UDX series projectors, renowned for their excellent video quality, color spectrum, and warping and blending functionality. This Barco system enabled the arena to run its spectacular "Fear the Deep" opening sequence and a multitude of interactive fan games during intermissions, successfully creating an impactful and immersive experience that heightened fan engagement and set a thrilling tone for events.
