Northwest Open Access Network - Customer Case Study

Northwest Open Access Network (NoaNet) is a Washington state non‑profit wholesale telecommunications mutual focused on bringing high‑speed, affordable broadband to hard‑to‑reach communities. NoaNet needed a cost‑effective way to track more than 15,000 telecom assets—routers, switches, line cards, optics, test equipment and tools—across multiple permanent and temporary locations, bind each item to model/serial numbers and purchase orders, and eliminate error‑prone spreadsheets.

ASAP Systems’ barcode‑based Asset Tracking and Inventory System provided a quick, easy‑to‑learn solution that lets users scan, search and filter assets by multiple fields, assign items to locations and link them to POs. The result was faster, more accurate inventory visibility, better purchasing decisions, reduced time spent on physical verification and measurable time and cost savings across NoaNet’s operations.
