The Center for Health Care Services (CHCS) is a San Antonio–area nonprofit providing mental health, developmental disability, and substance‑abuse services across nearly fifty programs and locations. They struggled to track IT equipment and bundled accessories (laptops with docking stations, monitors, jetpacks, etc.) using error‑prone Excel spreadsheets, which produced poor accountability, no reliable audit trail, and difficulty reporting serial, warranty, cost, and location data.
