ASAP Passport Helps Keiser University Track High-Valued Assets

Keiser University, a private institution with campuses across the U.S., Europe, China and Central America, faced the challenge of tracking more than 53,000 fixed assets—including computers, AV, furniture and lab equipment—without a centralized, accurate inventory system. Asset allocations were often simple line‑item entries, creating visibility gaps, data-entry errors and difficulty managing movement and accountability across multiple locations.

To address this, Keiser implemented ASAP Systems’ Passport (Passport Asset and Passport Mobile) with Motorola barcode scanners and a Zebra printer, plus online installation, training and support. The solution enabled mobile barcode capture, serial/model tracking and configurable reports, delivering faster, more accurate data entry, real-time asset location, reduced lost or idle equipment, improved accountability and measurable cost savings with a quick return on investment.
