Global Medical Brigades is an international student-and-professional movement delivering healthcare in remote communities in Honduras and Nicaragua. They struggled with stockroom mismanagement—volunteer-run pharmacies couldn’t reliably track donated and purchased medications, expiration dates, or inventory across multiple locations, resulting in excess expired meds and wasted resources during high-demand seasons.

ASAP Systems deployed a cloud-based, barcode inventory solution with multi-site support, expiration and batch/lot tracking, and configurable reporting. The system centralized visibility of all stock, sped up data entry, reduced human error, and let staff prioritize soonest-expiring medications; as a result, Global Brigades cut waste, improved inventory accuracy, and streamlined Receive/Issue/Return workflows across sites.
