After the 2017 takeover of baramundi software AG by WITTENSTEIN SE, the subsidiary WITTENSTEIN holding, Corp. began evaluating baramundi’s unified endpoint management solution to simplify software packaging, improve patch visibility, and address security gaps more effectively.

With baramundi’s Management Suite, WITTENSTEIN used a push-based approach to distribute third-party updates and Microsoft patches more quickly and reliably than with SCCM, while also benefiting from vulnerability scans and prepackaged updates from baramundi experts. The result was a clearer view of missing patches and outdated systems, stronger security, and an estimated savings of 200 working hours per year for the small IT team.
