Kristiansund Municipality sought to modernize its operations and improve its health and human services through digitization, moving away from inefficient manual processes. To achieve this, the municipality partnered with vendor Banqsoft, implementing their Credit Management solution, including the "My Page" service for inhabitants.

Banqsoft's solutions helped Kristiansund automate its collection service, providing citizens with digital self-service options and the municipality with greater income predictability. The broader digital infrastructure, which included moving systems to the cloud, allowed the municipality to become a leader in innovation, efficiently launch vital services like a COVID-19 patient monitoring system, and successfully enable digital homeschooling for all 142 school classes within two days during a national lockdown.
