Visit Omaha Provides Visitor Savings with Two Unique Packs

Visit Omaha wanted to give travelers more value and help them discover local attractions and experiences across the destination, while also better understanding visitor behavior and the impact of its marketing. To do that, it worked with Bandwango and its Destination Experience Engine (DXE) to create digital savings and coupon passes that could connect visitors with partner businesses in a measurable way.

Bandwango implemented two DXE programs for Visit Omaha: the Omaha Craft Brew Penny Pack and the Omaha Savings Pack. The Penny Pack delivered instant mobile coupons for 12 breweries, driving more than 542 distributions to brewery partners in one month alone, while the Savings Pack offered family-friendly discounts and gave Visit Omaha insight into planning behavior, including that customers typically start planning 24 days before arrival. Overall, Bandwango helped Visit Omaha generate 11,266 annual downloads and 6,560 total redemptions, while improving its ability to track visitor funnels and market more effectively.
