Ottawa Tourism partnered with Bandwango to launch the #MyOttawa Savings Pass, a locals-first initiative designed to encourage backyard tourism and support local businesses during a period of uncertainty and recovery. Facing the need to move quickly as Canada reopened and to serve both English and French speakers, Ottawa Tourism needed a flexible, bilingual solution that could help drive spending at local attractions, retail, and accommodations.
Bandwango helped Ottawa Tourism build and translate the #MyOttawa Passport, including more than 60 merchant offers and support for French-language access. The campaign launched on June 24, 2020 and delivered 5,759 sign-ups, 549 redemptions, and 4,518 marketing opt-ins, with a 78.45% marketing opt-in rate.
