Visit Salt Lake wanted to drive demand and better track visitor activity in the destination after the pandemic. Working with Bandwango and its partner RootRez, the team used Bandwango’s Connect Pass as an added-value perk tied to hotel reservations to encourage travel and measure engagement.
Bandwango implemented a passport-style campaign that let potential visitors receive a Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass when they booked a room night, with the campaign running from August through December 2020. The initiative generated 1,000 reservations, delivered 51 Connect Passes to the audience, and achieved an 86.6% value-add activation rate, showing measurable lift in booking demand and visitor participation.
