How An Exclusive Food & Wine Festival Drew On The Ticketing Innovation Of Bandwango Proving A Model For Small Scale Events To Benefit From Next Generation Mobile Event Technology

Eat Drink SLC, an annual food and wine festival in Utah’s capital city, needed a better way to handle ticketing and entry as the event grew. To improve the guest experience and support its mission of showcasing local food, wine, and craft beverages, the team turned to Bandwango’s event ticketing platform and mobile passport technology.

Bandwango created the ticketing site, sold tickets, and used its GoRedeem iOS app to scan QR codes for admission while also delivering a mobile event guide. The results were strong: more than 500 attendees were scanned and admitted in under 30 minutes, the guide helped guests access wine info, menus, tasting notes, and a tracker, and all event content was centralized so updates appeared instantly across the ticketing site and mobile guide.
