The Girls’ Day School Trust boosts Sixth Form marketing across 25 schools with Bandstand

The Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) faced the challenge of increasing student attrition at the GCSE level and needed to attract new students to its Sixth Forms across 25 schools while retaining its current students. The client was concerned that girls might prefer to attend co-educational schools for a more rounded experience. Bandstand was enlisted to address this challenge.

Bandstand conducted in-depth research and co-creation workshops to understand the student perspective, which led to the central campaign proposition "One of a kind, part of the family." The vendor executed a multi-asset campaign across film, social media, print, and digital advertising that showcased real student stories. The campaign successfully articulated the emotional benefits and inclusive nature of the GDST network, launching across key social platforms to resonate with prospective students.
