SmokeBloq, a smart thermometer for outdoor cooking enthusiasts, faced the challenge of creating a reliable way for serious cooks to remotely monitor their grills and smokers, overcoming the limitations of existing thermometers. Band of Coders was engaged to help bridge this gap.

Band of Coders built the SmokeBloq iOS app from the ground up, creating a seamless bridge between the physical IoT thermometer and the user's phone. The solution utilized a serverless AWS backend to handle real-time IoT data collection, resulting in a lean and effective application that allows users to monitor and record cooking temperatures from anywhere.
