Subway, the quick-service restaurant chain, partnered with vendor BAMKO to create a limited-edition merchandise drop. Their challenge was to harness the excitement for the upcoming Netflix film Happy Gilmore 2 by designing a high-quality, authentic, and custom collection that would drive engagement and buzz for their brand.
BAMKO delivered a solution by creating a vintage-inspired collection, which included apparel and collectible pint glasses, with designs approved by Adam Sandler. A key item was a movie-set golf bag customized with Subway branding. BAMKO managed the entire custom project, utilizing its warehousing for efficient direct-to-buyer shipping. The program was a major success, generating significant media attention and fan excitement, with the unique golf bag item selling out immediately.
