MetLife, a global insurance leader, wanted to find sustainable employee appreciation gifts that would advance their environmental and social responsibility goals. They again partnered with vendor BAMKO after a successful prior collaboration, seeking a solution that would provide value while contributing to a worthy cause.

BAMKO delivered its RIPL tech kit, a curated collection of branded tech accessories in a sustainable bag. For each kit purchased, 1,000 square feet of endangered rainforest is protected. The vendor also created custom QR codes and a website to showcase the program's impact. The results were substantial: the program protected 4.3 million square feet of rainforest, saving an estimated 20,700 trees which will absorb 990,000 pounds of CO2 annually, while significantly boosting employee pride and engagement.
