Pai Skincare | A Strong 17% Conversion Rate with Live Shopping

Pai, a small London natural skincare brand founded by Sarah Brown, needed a way for its expert skin coaches to deliver personalized advice to a growing global audience, increase engagement, and build a new ecommerce revenue channel. In 2021 Pai partnered with Bambuser to launch a Live Shopping channel using Bambuser’s One-to-Many live shopping solution.

Bambuser enabled twice-weekly, mobile-first livestreams (using its Floating Action Widget and a fast editing/snippet tool), a dedicated Live Shopping page, and shoppable video snippets on product pages. The impact was significant: Live Shopping drove 10% of Pai’s online revenue in 2021, achieved a 17% conversion rate (≈6.3× the industry average), grew viewers by 148% and chat engagement by 266%; product uplifts included Rosehip Oil +82% (£8k) and Middlemist Seven +30% (£24k), plus higher AOV and longer time on page.
