Japanese Lifestyle Brand Baycrew’s Switches to Bambuser

Baycrew’s, a leading Japanese lifestyle brand with nearly 500 stores and a large ecommerce presence, wanted to adopt live shopping but had issues with a previous provider. The site loaded slowly because of large cookies, and the setup didn’t fit Baycrew’s preferred high-end filming style with professional equipment. They turned to Bambuser’s Social Commerce for a faster, simpler, and more flexible live shopping solution.

Bambuser embedded Social Commerce into Baycrew’s site in just two weeks, improving load times and enabling professional-looking live events with a setup that also worked well using a smartphone and tripod. The results were strong: Social Commerce drove 19% of company-wide sales on days it ran, versus 5% with the previous solution, with a 22% conversion rate, 14-minute average viewing time, and 38,650 orders from February to August 2022. Baycrew’s also used Bambuser’s dashboard and Google Analytics to track performance and refine its live shopping strategy.
