To do this, the company partnered with Bambuser and launched FP Live using Bambuser’s video commerce platform, bringing interactive, shoppable video directly to its ecommerce site.
With Bambuser, Free People ran live shopping events hosted by in-house experts and seasonal hosts, allowing shoppers to ask questions in real time and see products demonstrated live. The result was a more personalized and engaging shopping journey, with Free People reporting lower return rates from customers who purchased through Live Shopping episodes and stronger sales engagement through its dedicated video commerce channel.
