AftonBladet, a leading Swedish media house within Schibsted Media Group, needed to keep up with the fast pace of digital and mobile news while staying first to report breaking stories. To support this challenge, AftonBladet turned to Bambuser’s Broadcaster app and Broadcast SDK to make live reporting and audience-sourced content easier and faster.

With Bambuser, AftonBladet’s journalists could stream live directly from their smartphones to the control room, while editors used the Content Management tool to monitor, select, and publish incoming feeds across digital platforms. The Broadcast SDK also enabled users of AftonBladet’s news app to submit exclusive live footage, and the company was able to integrate, test, and launch the customized broadcasting experience in just a few weeks.
