How Gravy Analytics uses BambooHR® Performance Management and Employee Satisfaction to build a workplace that fosters employee and company growth

Gravy Analytics, a Sterling, VA–based location-technology company of about 51–100 employees, hired Becky Thompson as its first HR Director in 2019 to streamline processes and better support employees. Her one-on-one interviews revealed two main challenges: employees weren’t getting adequate performance feedback, and the company needed a scalable, standardized way to gather and act on employee satisfaction and concerns.

Becky implemented BambooHR for performance management, employee satisfaction surveys, reporting and PTO, introducing regular performance conversations, anonymous feedback channels (including a virtual suggestion box), and monthly HR analytics. The changes produced more actionable feedback and development opportunities, improved transparency for leadership (with results shared up to the CEO and board), and gave HR the data needed to spot trends and respond to employee concerns.
