MediaGun modernizes media playback across 3 platforms with Bamboo Agile in 15 months

MediaGun, the owner of a comprehensive professional media player, approached Bamboo Agile with the challenge of modernizing their Windows-exclusive application. They needed to expand it into a cross-platform solution supporting Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and Android, while also improving its general performance, design, and adding new features like cloud support.

Bamboo Agile completely remade the application from scratch using technologies like Qt (C++) and C#. The solution delivers a unique multiplatform media player that can display Microsoft Office files on systems without Office installed and allows users to create interactive playlists from a vast number of file types. The project is ongoing, and the new MediaGun is currently in its beta stage, already available on Windows, MacOS, and Linux with basic functionality, while bugfixing and the development of cloud and Android features continue.
