Smart Plants, a small Norway-based company focused on smart buildings and industrial infrastructure, needed a way to remotely manage and update critical ventilation systems across customer sites. They turned to balena and its device management and update platform, looking for a solution that would fit their software delivery pipeline and give them control over deployed devices.

With balena, Smart Plants quickly connected devices, set up a Git plus Docker workflow, and built a CI/CD pipeline for seamless application deployments. The result was faster time to market, remote management of client-installed hardware, and the ability to scale their ClevAir service while maintaining control over mission-critical devices.
