SKOLKOVO - Customer Case Study

Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, a new-generation business school, needed to secure its IT resources with flexible information security systems that would integrate with its existing infrastructure and meet international standards. BalaBit was selected alongside other vendors, with BalaBit Shell Control Box used to monitor privileged user activity and strengthen control over remote access.

BalaBit helped implement a comprehensive security solution that was rolled out in phases and went into production in September 2011. The result was protected internet access, secure VPN-based remote access, monitoring of system administrators, and better security for mobile users; the school also reported a high level of information system protection after the first year in operation, along with an optimized and modernized network infrastructure.
