Privileged User Monitoring And Mitigation Of Insider Threats At Docapost Group

Docapost, part of the La Poste group, manages sensitive customer data and needed stronger controls to reduce insider threats and meet French and European security and compliance requirements. To improve monitoring of privileged accounts, Docapost looked for a solution that could add traceability and integrate with password management, and selected BalaBit’s Shell Control Box (SCB).

BalaBit implemented SCB with help from integration partner Nomios, making it mandatory for privileged access so Docapost could record and review admin activity with tamper-proof audit trails. The result was better visibility into privileged sessions, stronger compliance support, temporary access control, and real-time monitoring with immediate intervention if needed, helping Docapost mitigate insider-risk incidents and extend its security controls across more services.
