BalaBit implemented syslog-ng Store Box (SSB) to centralize log collection from Windows servers, Extreme Networks switches, and Fortinet firewalls in a secure IT area. Using encrypted, time-stamped log archiving plus reporting, filtering, classification, and search features, Data Base Factory improved real-time monitoring and created dozens of daily, weekly, and monthly reports, helping it respond quickly to PCI-DSS requirements and strengthen compliance visibility.
