Kapsch, a traffic management company, needed help adapting its automated tolling software for two U.S. multi-lane tolling systems in California and Georgia. Using a staff augmentation model with technologies including .NET, SQL Server, Oracle, and Microsoft IIS, BairesDev supported the customization, debugging, and QA efforts needed to integrate the solution with existing infrastructure.

BairesDev assembled two engineering teams to create documentation, build scripts and templates for fixes, and perform smoke, integration, and user acceptance testing. The work helped Kapsch configure smart tolling systems that consolidated 15 express lane systems on California’s Interstate 15 and State Route 9, added dynamic pricing and image review, simplified enforcement, and improved toll account management while easing traffic congestion in Georgia.
