Queensland Rail, Queensland’s largest rail operator with more than 6,000 staff and revenues above AUD 6 billion, faced a complex Release 2 migration to its SAP Enterprise Asset Management system. The project required moving multiple business “disciplines” from Remedy (TSMS) into an existing SAP instance, restructuring functional locations, implementing new business structures and functionality, and overcoming poor prior processes—manual spreadsheets, no mapping, and no validation—while staying on time and on budget with zero downtime.
