Case Study: Eton Properties achieves SAP go‑live in under five months and improved data quality with BackOffice Associates

A Backoffice Associates Case Study

Preview of the Eton Properties Case Study

Backoffice’s Methodology Enables Data Migration of Crucial Objects in Less Than Five Months

Eton Properties, the real estate arm of the Lucio Tan Group in the Philippines, needed to consolidate Excel and legacy system data into a single integrated SAP platform ("ONE SAP") to improve financial reporting and decision-making. Facing an aggressive implementation timeline and the risk that poor-quality legacy data would derail the project, Eton required a fast, reliable approach to assess, cleanse and migrate critical real-estate and project data.

BackOffice Associates performed an initial data assessment and deployed its Data Stewardship Platform, migration services and training to centralize and validate data, establish business rules and automate loading to SAP ECC 6.0. The partnership eliminated spreadsheet versioning issues, raised data quality, and enabled on-time go‑live in under five months, streamlined month‑end closing through automated settlement rules, and established ongoing governance and cleansing processes to sustain data quality post‑go‑live.
