BKS Bank set out to modernize its BKS Leasing arm, which relied heavily on face-to-face interactions, to reduce branch visits, increase originations, and standardize self-service across channels. To do this it partnered with Backbase and adopted Backbase Digital Sales as the digital foundation for a fully digitized, self-service lease application platform.
Backbase delivered an agile, collaborative Leasing Interact solution with ready-to-go components, multi-product application management, pre-filled forms, calculators and seven tailored customer journeys so customers can complete lease requests online. The Backbase Digital Sales implementation produced dramatic results — a 90% reduction in processing time, a 75% reduction in submission time, an average 5‑minute application completion/internal processing time, 20-click customer journeys, and a fully end-to-end digital process that reduced branch dependency and strengthened BKS Bank’s competitive position.
